The Himalia

The Himalia consists of five very diverse personalities. The Himalia has been around farther than history has been recorded. There has been one family that has carried on the 'family business' so to speak and gathered new members every time they need to. Rakini is the newest leader, only working for about two years now but you wouldn't have guessed it. So maybe it's time to introduce these diverse personalities, so without further delay:

Rakini: Rakini has been a good leader from day one. She calls the shots, is witty and a quick thinker. Rakini is not strong physically but mentally, you can always pick her out because she is the shortest. Everyone stands from as little to 22 inches to about 2 feet over her. Though she is 24 years old she sports the looks of a younger girl. She is tan and has red eyes. Her hair is literally silver and quite wavy and long.

Trivin: Trivin is a hunter of sorts, killing animals for food and killing all who try to harm Rakini seeing as he is her body guard as well. He has short black hair and stands clearly two feet over Rakini. He is swift, cunning, and his muscles are toned well. Beware his sister Sakina.

Sakina: Sakina is an assasin/huntress. Her brother is used to getting the food and only fighting for protection. Ruthless Sakina spends her time going after all who propose a threat/challenge to the Himalia. She shuts up spies and gets rid of all opposers. She is quite and her deameanor resembles that of a tigress. She looks very innocent, the most innocent of them all and has brown eyes with long straight black hair. Don't let her innocence fool you, she is highly deadly, very good at what she does, and knows more than one way to make someone suffer.

Nainema: Nainema is the only other male in the Himalia. He is only 22 inches above Rakini and is slim fit with not well toned muscles. Nainema is a spy, spying on all opposers/adversaries to obtain the information Rakini is seeking. Nainema has short curly brown hair and yellow eyes.

Lamia: Last but not least is Lamia, a witch (but she prefers enchantress/sorceress). Lamia is still learning but she is into spells and seems to have a talent in fortune telling and dream interpretation. Sadly her spells backfire sometimes and she is scolded. Lamia looks her part, she has a crazy green gaze and short red hair.

Now the Himalia has one goal. They've been searching for a dagger that belonged to a goddess named Ina. They've been in Umbagollah since a new lead had brought them there two years ago when Rakini first took over. They want the dagger because it is a key tool in spell that gives the worker(s) great powers. Yes, the Himalia is power hungry. They are especially hostile over this artifact since it was stolen centuries ago when the first leader was killed. Her son of course became the next leader and they still say the same prayer the first leader said in her dying hours:

you tell me that I must perish
like the flowers that I cherish
Nothing remaining of my name
Nothing remembered of my fame
But the gardens I planted still are young
and the songs I sang will still be sung.

The group is not particularly deadly unless you are in the way of their goal or are trying to do them in, then they become a bad, bad dream. Sadly though, the dagger in which they seek is no where near the country of Umbagollah.

The organisation has its home in a series of rooms in the Tower Near The Edge, a tall structure close to the hedge maze that forms the boundaries of the city of Ex. Their rooms lie on the floor above the theatre that takes up the bottom part of the tower. They can hear the thumps, sighs and mutterings of rehearsals going on beneath them, and when they venture downstairs they are likely to be met by members of the theatrical team hauling mounds of cloth, furniture or props or perhaps bringing in plates of food to feed the workers.
